Coopa got his start in tattooing in 1995. A few years went by and he got an official job at Old Port Tattoo in Portland Maine. There he learned the true art of tattooing. He worked with three of Maine’s top artists. They helped him truly hone his skills, not just as an artist, but as a businessman as well. He then moved on to work for a friend of his at a Local shop, Millennium Tattoo in Biddeford Maine. Worked a few years their then realized he had some good ideas for a shop of his own. He decided to take his art and his ideas to the next level. Coopa opened Coopa Creations in May of 2005. Since his opening he has gone from a one man operation to a full team of talented professional ego free artists. With an extensive client list, a very well respected reputation for quality work, kindness, fair pricing, many awards and seventeen years in the buisness and counting. the future looks very bright for this studio.
